I help small businesses, medical practices and individuals resolve Business and Tax issues.  I have a finance and business background, and my clients appreciate that I can communicate solutions to complex issues in a way that they understand.

I prepare QDROs after Divorces, and help with implementing the property aspects of a Divorce.

I also have extensive experience with Estate Planning, and the probate/administration of estates and trusts.

"Eventually" usually happens sooner than we expect, need or want!  Whether it be in your business, or after a divorce, I help you get it done.
I have chosen to practice law in the tax, business / corporate and estate planning / probate areas.  I practice solo, so you speak with me when you call.  It also permits me to make office calls and house calls when needed, including evening and weekends.  I have chosen this business model in order to be available to my kids.

My practice consists of advising and assisting individuals (and their small to mid-sized businesses) about the following: 

        Tax.  Hopefully as tax planning, but also where you or your CPA are just not sure you have taken the right position.
        Business.   All the issues that arise with forming, buying, operating and selling a small to mid-sized business.
        Estate Planning.  Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Financial and Medical Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, etc.
        Probate Law.  Help with post-death financial and property issues.  Review Executor and Trustee performance issues.
        QDROs - I negotiate, draft, and implement these post-divorce documents related to Qualified Retirment Plans.

Finalizing a Divorce: I draft and submit QDRO Qualified Domestic Relations Orders--soup to nuts, representing either side.  "Defined Contribution" plans (401(k)'s, 403(b)'s) are a fixed fee of $950.  Defined Benefit QDROs are at an hourly rate.

Interpretation and Implementation of Property Provisions of Divorce Settlement Agreements Does the settlement agreement really mean what your ex says it does?  I help interpret what is there, and if necessary, help resolve the disagreement.  I will have NOTHING to do with custody, visitation or child support (unless it involves a trust).  I have enough with my own young kids!
